PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to selectively connect activated a sense amplifier to a data line and output a data from a desired sense amplifier to a data line by a column address assigning and supply a data from a desired memory cell to a sense amplifier by a row address assigning concurrently. CONSTITUTION: The semiconductor device comprises a sense amplifier array and a memory array. In the semiconductor, the sense amplifier and the a memory array are placed alternatively. With assign of a row address, the memory cell in a suitable column connects the sense amplifier and activates the sense amplifier array. A data connection transistor places in a space of the sense amplifier and a data pair. An AND circuit has a column selection signal by an assignment of column address and an activation signal of sense amplifier as input signals. An output of AND circuit is supplied to the transistor through a sub column selection line.
