METHOD FOR DETECTING PROTEIN OF POLYACRYLAMIDE GEL USING COUNTER-DYE COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A method for detecting protein of polyacrylamide gel using counter-dye composition is to rapidly and simply detect a protein of polyacrylamide gel in 2-50 times improved high sensitivity comparing with the existing CBBR or CBBG staining method by staining the polyacrylamide gel as a counter-dye composition(including SDS and non-SDS) containing an acid organic dyestuff and a basic organic dyestuff. CONSTITUTION: A counter-dye composition includes; a zincon and ethyl violet(a); a zincon and methyl violet(b); a zincon and meldola's blue(c); a coomassie brilliant blue R and phenosafranin(d); a coomassie brilliant blue G and methyl orange(e); a calconcarboxylic acid and rodamin B(f); or an eriochrome black T and rodamin B(g).
