PURPOSE: A reflective liquid crystal display(LCD) device is provided to improve display quality, eg. white color purity by forming a reflection electrode having an uneven shape inside of the substrate. CONSTITUTION: The reflective LCD device comprises, a transparent substrate and an opposing substrate, a light-scattering liquid crystal lying between the transparent substrate and the opposing substrate, a reflection electrode formed on inside of the opposing substrate, and a transparent electrode formed on inside of the transparent substrate. The reflection electrode has an uneven shape, and the light-scattering liquid crystal includes both front a scattering component and a backside scattering component. The scattering plate can be formed outside of the transparent substrate, and the scattering layer can be formed inside of the transparent substrate.
