PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a switch from becoming inappropriate for small currents because of an increase in contact resistance caused by two-point contact that occurs when a moving contact makes contact with both contact pieces in on period. SOLUTION: In this switch, contacts are switched on and off by causing a biased operating part 5c to move in and out of a space between a pair of contact pieces 2, 3, so that when the contacts are on, the pair of contact pieces 2, 3 make contact with each other at one point, leading to less contact resistance. Therefore, the switch becomes appropriate for small currents. Also, self-cleaning can be achieved by the biased operating part 5c without use of a moving contact.
