<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the DAB receiver to quickly and surely discriminate a transmission mode. SOLUTION: The receiver is provided with a delay circuit 21 that delays a received DAB signal, a correlation circuit 22 that takes a correlation between a delay output of the delay circuit 21 and the received DAB signal, a moving average circuit 23 that takes a moving average of a correlation output from the correlation circuit 22. One of plural transmission modes is assumed. A delay time of the delay circuit 21 is set to a time corresponding to a time length of a symbol in the assumed transmission mode. The number of times when an output of the moving average circuit 23 exceeds a specified value is counted. Based on the counted result, a transmission mode where the number of times when a detection output of a peak detection circuit exceeds the specified value is maximized is discriminated as an actual transmission mode.</p> |
