PURPOSE: A cheap NOx purifier is provided to eliminate the NOx in the exhaust gas from such as a diesel engine and the like with the high purification rate and to simplify the structure of the purifier. CONSTITUTION: The exhaust gas purifier is composed of: NOx catalyst converter(28) mounted on an exhaust path(26) of an engine and reducing the NOx in the exhaust gas including the excessive oxygen; an air-feeding device(32, 34, 46) having an air-feeding path(32) which makes its ending part successively connected to the exhaust path(26) in the upper stream of the NOx catalyst converter(28) and its other ending part connected to an air-feeding source(36); a fuel-feeding device(40, 42, 46) for spraying the fuel to the air from the air-feeding source(36) installed on the way of the air-feeding path(32); and a heater(44, 46) for partially oxidizing the fuel by heating the added fuel in the air at a temperature of 350 to 450°C.
