PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a wire harness in a sign specified in the design shown on a layout load by making an actual start position for tape winding on a board coincide with a position shown in the design. SOLUTION: This wire harness assembling device includes an assembly bench and a wire layout jig 10 placed upright on the bench to retain and guide a wire. The wire layout jig 10 of an offset structure in which a column 10a is bent while one end face 10b-1 of a wire retaining/guiding part 10b is located on a central axis at the lower end of the column 10a is placed upright at a reference point P specifying the branching position of a wire harness shown in a full size drawing on the assembly bench 4, and one end face 10b-1 of the wire retaining/guiding part is located on a vertical line passing through the reference point P, so that with one end face 10b-1 of the wire retaining/guiding part serving as the starting position for tape winding, a tape T is wound around the wire laid. |
