PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera without damaging a unit and a circuit board even if a stroboscope unit comes into contact with other units and the circuit board at the time of detaching the stroboscope unit from a main body. SOLUTION: In a state where the stroboscope unit 4 is attached to a main body unit 1, a projecting part 27 comes into contact with a contact piece 14a of an electric discharge switch 14 to push up the contact piece 14a. Thus, the contact piece 14a is in a state of non-contact with a contact piece 14b and the electric discharge circuit of a main capacitor 15 becomes an opened state, then the main capacitor 15 can be charged. When the stroboscope unit 4 is removed from the main body unit 1, the discharge switch 14 is turned on to discharge an electric charge stored in the main capacitor 15.
