PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display device in which a picture is automatically displayed in the effective display-enabled display region of the device in accordance with the picture interval of input signals without requiring an operation by a user when the timing of the input signals is switched. SOLUTION: The circuit is provided with a microcomputer 6 which computes the value to be set in a pixel conversion means 5 in accordance with a detected frequency when a frequency detecting means detects the change in the frequency, reads the display position of the picture signals to be displayed on a pixel display device 8 from the means 5, recomputes the display position of the picture signals based on the display position and resets the corrected display position on the means 5.
