摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of efficiency and durability by increasing the number of engine starts and stops and providing cold storage using excess capacity under a light load to get rid of a need for controlling an engine by ON-OFF operation in an engine driven refrigeration system using a mixed refrigerant. SOLUTION: A refrigerant is a mixed refrigerant comprising a high boiling point component and a low boiling point component, a refrigerant condenser is provided at an upper stream side and an lower stream side respectively, a distiller 4 is provided at the lower stream side of an upper stream side condenser 3a, a high boiling point component path 10 is formed for introducing the refrigerant from a refrigerant liquid outlet of the distiller into a refrigerant evaporator 9 by means of an expansion valve 8 and returning to a compressor 1 through the refrigerant evaporator, and a low boiling component path 14 is formed for introducing the refrigerant from a refrigerant gas outlet of the distiller into a cold storage device 12 through a lower stream side condenser 3b and an expansion valve 11 and returning to the compressor through an indirect heat exchange with a cold storage material.
