PURPOSE: A griddle is provided which has an excellent thermal transmission property. CONSTITUTION: The composite griddle plate having a heavy copper core(4) is prepared which is diffused on the outer layer comprising stainless steel, carbon steel or titanium. The stainless steel outer layer(6) having 0.250 inch of thickness and high purity copper inner layer having 2 inches formed triple composite laminates, and explosion bonded to give a composite slab. The slab is cut to a smaller form, heated to 1,400- 1,600 degree F and hot-rolled several times to give the composite griddle plate(2).
