PURPOSE: To provide the abrasive-free cleaning composition which includes, in aqueous solution, a bleach, a colloidal thickener, a source of divalent ionic calcium. CONSTITUTION: The composition contains that at least one surfactant effective to provide cleaning activity and thickening in association with the colloidal thickener, an electrolyte/buffer effective to promote the environment in which the thickener and surfactant associate to provide thickening, and also desirable viscosity and rheological properties including significant viscosity stability, phase stability, and the source of divalent ionic calcium for bleach stability.
