PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compose a color picture tube device capable of preventing misconvergence caused by a center beam and a pair of side beams receiving unbalanced force from a pair of two circular bipolar magnets. SOLUTION: In this color picture tube device having a pair of two circular bipolar magnets 44, installed rotatably on the neck circumference of the electron gun side of a deflection yoke, for generating a magnetic field for corresponding orbits of three electron beams in the same direction, the inner circumferential edge near magnetic poles of the bipolar magnets 44 is formed into a linear shape perpendicular to a magnetic flux 51 generated from the magnetic poles.
