PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed opening which is simply structured and closes completely for easily handling on the completion of weighing operation. SOLUTION: This relates to a feed shutter which opens completely, partially or closes completely a feed opening 2 by being detached from or fitted with the side of a shutter 3 provided at the feed opening 2 part of a shutter arm 5. In this case a reciprocating member 6 operated through a solenoid by a weigher weighing a set amount is connected to the shutter arm 5. The shutter arm 5 and the reciprocating member 6 are structured as one set for the feed opening 2 to be opened completely, partially or closed completely. The power switch for an operation panel and the solenoid 7 are electrically connected; and by turning off the power switch, the solenoid 7 detaches the shutter arm 5 from the side of the shutter 3 through the reciprocating member 6 for closing the feed opening 2 completely.
