PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening band for a tire chain to be excellent in a modulus of elasticity, fatigue resistance, and a restoration property of expansion. SOLUTION: A fastening band for a tire chain is formed of a rubber component prepared in a way that 1.5-2.0 pts.wt. sulfur and an amount of a vulcanization accelerator lower than an amount of sulfur based on 100 pts.wt. a rubber content consisting of 70-90 pts.wt. at least one kind of dien rubber having a glass transition temperature of -65 deg.C or less and 10-30 pts.wt. a styrene-butadien copolymer rubber having a glass transition temperature of -30--60 deg.C.
