摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact wrench capable of preventing the occurrence of high rotating torque and of preventing material from being damaged. SOLUTION: This invention is concerned with an impact wrench which transmits a rotary motion over to a driver spindle 5 by way of a shaft 4, and is provided with an electric motor driving a cam controlling sleeve 2 for controlling an impact movement enclosed by an impact device cage 6, an orbit having upheavals over its circumference in the axial direction, is provided for the head side at the opposite side of the spindle of the sleeve, the sleeve forms the revolving circular path 9 of a ball 10 in cooperation with the impact device cage, and furthermore, the cam controlling sleeve is engaged with each pin 12 capable of being moved in the axial direction, in the impact wrench, wherein each pin compresses a spring 13 returning to a starting condition by a moving motion acting to an impact mechanism, the sleeve 2 enables the ball 10 to be fixed when rotated in one direction to block the impact mechanism at the time of a rotary motion so as to enable the ball in the orbit or the circular path 9 to be revolved when rotated in other direction, so that the impact mechanism is thereby formed up at the time of a rotary motion.
