PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat ray barrier film excellent in humidity resistance. SOLUTION: In a heat ray barrier film comprising (2n+1) layers (n>=1) wherein oxide films 2, metal films 3 and oxide films 2 are alternately laminated on a substrate 1, the oxide film 4 formed on the metal film (A) most separated from the substrate contains at least one zinc oxide film B of which the content of Sn is 1-10 atomic % with respect to the total amt. of Sn and Zn. At least one layer among the oxide films other than the oxide film (B) is pref. a zinc oxide film doped with 1-10 atomic % of at least one of Si, Ti, Cr, B, Mg, Sn and Ga with respect to the total amt. with Zn.
