PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To entirely cover the side face of a bed, etc., to make the guard able to be dropped onto a side frame at the time of not using and to avoid inserting hands or legs at the time of dropping the guard. SOLUTION: A lower-part horizontal crosspiece member 15 in a hollow state is attachably and detachably provided at the side frame and a winding shaft is incorporated in this member 15 to wind and house a screen member 12. The upper end part of the member 12 is fixed to an upper-part horizontal crosspiece member 16. By lifting the member 16 to engage both end sides of the member 16 with notch parts 19 in the neighborhood of both side parts of the upper parts of a head board 17 and a foot board 18, the member 12 wound and housed into the member 15 is drawn out to cover the side face of the bed 10. |
