PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning technique for an existing pipeline by which deposit in the pipeline can be approximately completely removed without bringing about increase in cost. SOLUTION: In a cleaning technique for an existing pipeline which removes deposit in the inner face of the pipeline with an abrasive carried by air flow on the inner face of the existing pipeline, a suction device is connected with one end part in the laid direction of the above described existing pipeline and a drawing member 10 extended in the above described existing pipeline and a rotatable rotating blades 11 arranged at specified intervals in the extended direction of this drawing member 10 are arranged and the rotating blades 11 are rotated by the air flow in the pipeline generated by making the inside of the above described existing pipeline to a negative pressure by the above described suction and the abrasive is introduced in the existing pipeline to bring the abrasive into contact with the inner face of the existing pipeline by means of a centrifugal force of the rotating blades 11.
