<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laying method for pipe through which a new pipe is pulled in simultaneously with excavating and propelling works immediately after the works by use of devices used for the excavation to reduce man-days and the construction time. SOLUTION: In this laying method for pipes, an excavating means 3A is thrusted from the ground to the underground and a PE pipe corresponding to a new pipe is inserted in a propulsion hole formed by the excavating means 3A. One end of a supply pipe 1 as a newly laying object is connected to an excavating and propelling device constituted of a plurality of stages of rods 5-7 and provided with a built-in extensible cylinder 4 equipped with the excavating means 3A at the front end. The rods 6, 7 are stretched in the interlocking motion with the extension of cylinder to thrust the excavating means 3A. The supply pipe 1 is pulled in by the interlocking contraction motion of the cylinder 4 and the rods 5-7 under the condition that the excavating means 3A is retained in the excavating position.</p> |
