PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stable quality of prolonging a lifetime of a rubber roll by charging unvulcanized rubber together with a roll mandrel in a split mold, and vulcanizing the rubber under pressure in the mold while heating the roll from the mold side and the mandrel side, thereby preventing releasing of the roll during using. SOLUTION: Unvulcanized rubber 2a molded in a sheet-like state is laid in a lower side mold 1a, and an upper side of a body of a mandrel 3 placed in the mold 1a is covered with unvulcanized rubber 2b molded in a sheet-like state. The rubber 2ab is covered with an upper side mold 1b. The rubbers 2a, 2b are heated also from the mandrel 3 side in the mold in the case of pressurizing and vulcanizing the rubbers 2a, 2b while heating the mold 1 together with the mandrel 3 by a heater in the mold 1. The rubbers 2a, 2b are heated from the mandrel 3 side to be uniformly heated, and the air in the rubbers of the mandrel 3 side can be sufficiently extracted, thereby obtaining entirely uniform and dense rubber lining. Thus, its wear resistance is improved, and release of the rubber of the rubber roll 5 is prevented, thereby prolonging a lifetime of the roll 5. |
