PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle the industrial wastes of chemical substances (mainly plastics) without generating an injurious substance on the treatment of the industrial wastes. SOLUTION: This method for the liquefaction treatment of the industrial wastes of petrochemical resins comprises placing chemical substances (mainly plastics, or the like) in a closed vessel, heating the chemical substances to liquefy, and further heating the liquid to distill out a liquid. The operations of the method comprises removing a pot lid 4, placing materials such as plastics, plastic films, or the like, in a distillation pot 2, closing the pot with the lid 3, igniting a gas range 1, heating the distillation pot 2 to melt the materials, and further heating the pot to generate a white gas. The expanded gas is taken out through a pipe 4 and cooled to produce the liquid (heavy oil). This, the wastes can be treated without releasing an injurious substance to the outside.
