PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the remaining of chips generated during machining which prevents the remaining of the chips in a work and improves the working rate. SOLUTION: This method for preventing the remaining of chips consists of machining a work SH having plural through-holes WH, OH communicating with a hollow part and preventing the remaining of the chips C generated by the machining within work SH. In this method, a liquid is poured from the through-hole OH exclusive of the point WH to be machined of the work SH and the chips C are discharged to the outside of the work SH by the liquid.
