MICROBICIDAL SUBSTANCE PRODUCED BY LEGIONELLA BACTERIUM, MICROBICIDE, WATER TREATMENT AGENT AND SLIME INHIBITOR USING THE SAME, AND THEIR PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a microbicide, water treatment agent and slime inhibitor, each having high microbicidal activity against bacteria belonging to the genus Legionella doubling as low corrosiveness and safety, and to provide a method for producing the above agents. SOLUTION: The microbicide, water treatment agent and slime inhibitor are such ones as to contain a microbicidal substance produced by bacteria belonging to the genus Legionella. Each of the above agents is produced by the following procedure: the above bacteria are cultured in a medium incorporated with an adsorbent and the microbicidal substance produced by the Legionella bacteria is allowed to adsorb onto the adsorbent and then by eluting the substance to be collected.
