PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering angle neutral point detection device in which a steering angle neutral point can be precisely detected without having effects of habits of a driver or traveling road conditions, and in which memory using quantity can be reduced. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a first time counting means (S10) to count a time in which a detected car speed is higher than a first specified car speed (S7), and lower than a second specified car speed (S8), and in which a detected steering angular speed is continuously lower than a specified steering angular speed as a result of comparison of a steering angular speed comparison means (S14), a first memory means to store a steering angle detected by a steering angle detector and a current detected by a current detector when the first time counting means counts a first specified time (S16), a second memory means to determine and store a set of the stored steering angle and the current of the minimum current as a temporary neutral point steering angle and a temporary neutral point current when the number of the sets reaches a first specified number, a statistical means to determine a statistical value of the stored temporary neutral point steering angle, and a selecting means to select either of the statistical value determined by above means and the temporary neutral point steering angle to be a neutral steering angle.
