PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print well a base image having a size of a total image changed by arranging one or more element images, enlarging a dot size in a predetermined direction of the base image, and printing the formed high-density base image in an equal size to a print image with a dot density of the same magnification ratio in a predetermined direction. SOLUTION: The apparatus consists of an operation part 11 including a keyboard 3 or the like, a printing head 7, a printing part 12 with a tape feed part 120 and, a control part 200. Printing is ordered through an input of printing information, thereby obtaining a desired print. A lateral dot size of a base image is enlarged by (m) times by arranging one or more element images, whereby a high-density base image is formed. The highdensity base image is printed as a print object with an m-times density in a predetermined direction in the equal size to when the base image is printed as the print object after a size of a total image including element images such as character images that can be developed on the basis of an outline font, externally registered images registered by a dot matrix or the like is changed. |
