FULL-OPENING TYPE EARTH CARRIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a full-opening type earth carrier safely operated without damaging a watertight sealing mechanism or flowing-out of sediment even in a sea area having a harsh hydrographic condition. SOLUTION: A pair of left and right ship bodies are connected rotatably around a deck hinge, both of the left and right ship bodies are opened/closed by the elongation/contraction of a hydraulic cylinder, and sediment stored in a hold 1b is discharged out of the ship. A ship body relative displacement suppressing mechanism 6 is provided to suppress relative displacements in upper and lower directions between the left and right ship bodies. The ship body relative displacement suppressing mechanism 6 is provided with a projecting member 6a projectingly provided in the lower portion of a rough center in the front and rear directions of the hold 1b of one of the opposing outer boards 1a and 1a of the ship body toward the other outer board 1a, and a recessed member 6b provided in the other outer board 1a corresponding to the projecting member 6a and fitted with the same while the left and right ship bodies are closed.
