PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce at high speed faster than a conventional way be suppressing excessive heat generated near a die with respect to the rotary wheel type continuous extrusion device. SOLUTION: The rotary wheel type continuous extrusion device is provided with a die cooling medium groove on the face facing a die of a backer, which positions to a front face in the die extruding direction arranged to an extrusion chamber outlet and has a pass hole of a metal extruding material, and a cooling medium supply passage to guide the cooling medium supplied from outside to the cooling medium groove, a downstream side passage cross sectional area of the cooling medium supply groove is not more than an upstream side passage cross sectional area and a die cooling medium groove cross sectional area is not more than a min cross sectional area of the coolant supply passage. The production method of the metal product is so that a temp. of the die is controlled to <=450 deg.C while supplying liquid nitrogen from the outside of the device to the die cooling medium groove through the cooling medium supply passage.
