PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an endoscope from being deteriorated in functions and quality by invading steam even if steam is invaded inside the endoscope by autoclave sterilization. SOLUTION: An optical fiber bundle is constituted of quartz glass fibers with water resistance higher than that of ordinary multicomponent glass. Plural cores 30 are arranged in a clad 29 along the whole length. A jacket glass layer 31 is equipped on the outer periphery of the clad 29 and a resin coat layer 32 outside thereof. Element wires are not dispersed in each fiber intermediate part but made into a conduit fiber. Quartz glass is used for the clad 29, the core 30, and the jacket glass layer 31, and silicone resin is used for the resin coat layer 32. |
