PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retransmit an event report relating to reporting omission from a pertinent management object device to a network management device under initiative control by the respective management object devices. SOLUTION: When the contents of the events are transmitted through a network to the network management device 1 as the event report every time the various kinds of events are detected in the respective management object devices 2, from the fact that a reception confirmation response transmitted from the device 1 as the reception response is not received in an event report transmission origin within a fixed time, the event report of the same contents is retransmitted from the event report transmission origin through the network to the device 1.
