PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute release of the automatic transfer registration with a simple operation by an external terminal to an ISDN network where automatic transfer registration is set to transfer a call from the external terminal to an ISDN terminal. SOLUTION: First a database of a key telephone master set 1 registers release permission information denoting whether or not release is permitted in cross reference with identification information of a terminal 5 and an ISDN terminal 3, an ISDN 2 transmits a 'NOTIFY' message denoting transfer of a call to the pushbutton telephone master set 1 on the occurrence of transfer, the pushbutton telephone master set 1 compares each information element in the 'NOTIFY' message with information stored in the database so as to discriminate whether or not a line is permitted of release of transfer registration, generates a 'SETUP' message requesting release of transfer registration based on the discrimination result and transmits the message to the ISDN 2.
