PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize identification tags and a mechanism for attaching the identification tags to individual communication line terminals, with which the identification sign marking surfaces of the tags attached to the individual communication terminals can be changed freely and identification marks can be read easily, quickly and accurately. SOLUTION: A tag has a separated structure which has a high shape-keeping performance. The front member 11 and rear member 12 of the separated structure can be separably coupled with each other. An identification sign is marked on the surface of the front member 11. Straight grooves 13 and 14 to which a communication line is fit are formed in the coupling parts of both the front and rear members 11 and 12. After the communication line is fitted to the straight grooves 13 and 14, the front and rear members 11 and 12 are coupled with each other to fix. Thus, identification tags for communication lines can be fixed to the respective communication lines.
