PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep high information transmission reliability by checking a transmission error with source data contained in communication data as an object, answering the existence of any error to a transmission source node in such a case and acquiring the source data contained in the communication data when no error exists. SOLUTION: The function equipment such as audio output device 7 or sound source 9 of a CD player or the like is respectively connected to each of plural network controllers 5 and data can be mutually exchanged through a transmission line 3. By inversely transforming the received communication data, an SPDIF transforming device 13 restores them into communication data made into packet. While using an error check code added into the restored communication data, a control unit 11 performs the transmission error check with the source data contained in the communication data as the object. By checking length and footer information added into the restored communication data, the control unit 11 verifies the suitability of received communication data.
