PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the system that includes at least two unidirectional ring transmission lines and transfers data among plurality of stations. SOLUTION: The transmission direction is the same for both ring lines. Each station connects to the two rings, receives a message from the rings, recognizes the message addressed to its station, informs of the reception of the recognized message, circulates the received message independently of the presence of the reception notice and inserts the transmitted message to the 1st ring line. In the case that the transmitted message cannot be returned to a station via the 1st ring line and no reception is informed, the station repeats transmission of the transmission message on the other ring line after a delay time. The message on the ring line is transmitted by a cell of ATM type and the transmitted message replaces an idle cell.
