PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly restore transmission information even in the case that transmission signals are degraded. SOLUTION: In this method for transmitting information through a transmission channel related to a first alphabet, the matrix H of n×n of orthogonal superiority relating to a second numerical alphabet including at least three different values which are not zero and a set composed of at least one partial matrix for which the respective partial matrixes includes (p) rows (p>=2) among the rows of the matrix H are taken into consideration. By the method, one of the partial matrixes of the set and the (p) sets of real numbers called as 'row of coefficient' are selected so as to provide the progression of the first alphabet so as to express the information to be transmitted by the matrix product of the row of the coefficient and the selected partial matrix (steps 302, 304, 307 and 309). In this case, preferably, the matrix H is an orthogonal matrix and also a balanced matrix. |
