PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat insulating box body provided with a strong partition plate comprising a single part for facilitating processing, and heating by sufficiently shutting off the heat entering the inside of a room. SOLUTION: In a heat insulating box body comprising a box body main body provided with a plurality of rooms wherein the inside thereof partitioned by a partition plate 1 is lower than room temperature, and a plurality of opening and closing doors or the like provided corresponding to each room, an opening part is formed on the door side end part of the partition plate 1 by a partition wall 10 and upper and lower plates 8 and 9, a design plate 15 having a leg-shaped end side 15c on the rear side is installed in the front of this opening part for forming a void 12 between the design plate 15 and the partition plate 1, and a radiation pipe 19 is arranged in the void 12.
