The reel body carries a principal shaft (1), which is fixed in rotation and driven in alternating translation by a crank, which also drives a line recoverer around the main shaft. A reserve line reel (2) is mounted to rotate around the main shaft and a forward brake (3), with the action adjusted by a rotary button (4), accessible from in front of the reel, is added to produce a braking action on the reel. The brake is fitted with the means to enable the user to modify the stiffness of the elastic means (16) of applying the axial load on the brake.
