<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the communication system where a server being a source of occurrence of traffic is moved dynamically on a network without bypassing a path on which traffic is concentrated and without any setting change and addition of a control function to a client so as to effectively use a portion of the network where the utilizing rate is low. SOLUTION: Specific addresses A1, A2, A3 are provided respectively to a plurality of servers 101, 102 and a client 105 interconnected by a network to identify them respectively and for communication with them. Furthermore, a representative address V1 that is different from the specific addresses is assigned to any of a plurality of the servers. In the case of receiving service from any server, the client designates this representative address. The server and the client monitor a state of traffic on a communication path and in the case that a communication rate and a response time exceed a prescribed threshold level, the representative address is dynamically reassigned to the other server.</p> |
