PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce inserting force and pull-out force in the case where a male connector and a female connector are fitted to each other or separated from each other. SOLUTION: This connector in which a plastic mold 2 and a rubber mold 12 are elastically engaged with each other, is composed of a male connector 31 embedding a connecting terminal 3 in the circular shaped cross sectional plastic mold 2; and a female connector 41 embedding a connecting terminal 13 in the rubber mold 12 provided with a cylindrical-shaped part 14 for engaging on its edge part, a ring-shaped protrusion 15 for locking on an end of its inner peripheral surface, and a ring-shaped protrusion 16 provided with a water-proof function in an inner side of its inner peripheral surface. A tapered groove 32 is disposed on at least one place in an edge part of an outer surface of the plastic mold 2 for composing a male connector 31 at least, or a groove 42 is axially disposed on at least one place in the ring-shaped protrusion 15 for locking of the rubber mold 12 for composing a female connector 41.
