PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sound source LSI which is improved in performance while reduced in process load. SOLUTION: A pitch process PT generates waveform data WD' by performing pitch conversion of waveform data WD. In this case, an internal sampling rate which is higher than sampling rate information and closest thereto is selected according to the result of a comparison between the sampling rate information and respective internal sampling rates. A filter process FIL, an amplifier process AMP, and a mixer process MIX are carried out according to the internal sampling rate. Then a frequency converting process FSC converts the internal sampling rate to an output sampling rate. Consequently, an arithmetic process is performed efficiently to lighten the process load. |
