PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment capable of providing recording output corresponding to a request from a client when information received through a public network is temporarily stored in a server and recorded by a recording means later. SOLUTION: When it is designated to directly fetch the facsimile received information and to record it through a recording circuit 16 and it is possible to generate void caused by toner lack under first recording control, the operation of the recording circuit 16 is stopped. When fetching the facsimile received information stored in the server and recording it through the recording circuit 16 based on an instruction outputted from the client through a LAN 20g, under second recording control, the recording of the recording circuit 16 is continued even when it is possible to generate the void caused by the lack of remaining toner quantity. Thus, the contents of first and second recording control are set differently.
