PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously permit a fly ash or a mixture thereof with dust or reduced slag to be subjected to a melting treatment by supplying the fly ash which is generated as a result of combusting pulverized coal, or a mixture thereof with dust which is a waste of electric-furnace steel, to a high temperature flame for melting, followed by soldification. SOLUTION: After forming a high temperature flame, dust and a fly ash, or dust and reduced slag and a fly ash, are supplied thereto for melting. To this end, a nozzle 11 for injecting fuel is provided at the center of a fuel oil burner 1, primary oxygen is blown from a ring-shaped slit 12 surrounding the nozzle 11, and secondary oxygen is blown from a plurality of openings 14 arranged on the circumference of the outermost portion, and further a powdered mixture is injected with a carrier gas from slits 13 which are intermittently arranged on the circumference between the slit for the primary oxygen and the openings for the secondary oxygen. The powder as a raw material may be mixed in advance and then supplied to the burner. |
