<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery having high capacity, and to also ensure safety by emitting heat generated inside the battery through a can by an electrode roll housed inside the can by winding both a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a separator by applying an active material to both surfaces of the can and a base material. SOLUTION: In a heat emitting means, among two electrodes wound round the inside and outside through a separator, the base material of an electrode arranged in the outermost contour part of an electrode roll is directly contacted with a can, while wrapping the outermost contour part. The base material of the electrode arranged in the inmost contour part of the electrode roll is directly contacted with a mandrel while wrapping the inmost contour part, or may be directly contacted with a cap assembly through a positive electrode tap. A heat emitting body of a thin film having high thermal conductivity, for example, a thin film composed of Ni is arranged on the outer periphery of the electrode of the outermost contour part of the electrode roll, and also preferably makes contact with the can.</p> |
