PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic blackboard device and an electronic blackboard system where data are easily managed and high security is maintained by making office processing of a conference using the electronic blackboard device efficient so as to reduce a conference time and description contents of the electronic blackboard are easily utilized. SOLUTION: The electronic blackboard device 1 reads description contents of the electronic blackboard as image data, expands and stores the data and transmits the data to a server 2 via a LAN. the server 2 stores the data in a bit map memory 21 and in the case of an access request from a personal computer 3 on the LAN, the data are disclosed only to parties with access right (attendees of a conference or the like) that are registered and updated in advance in an ID identification section 23.
