PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with call termination regardless of the communication area of light waves and the presence/absence of the facing of a light transmitter and a light receiver by making radio terminal equipment report the call termination to a user by making the radio terminal equipment perform pre-ringing different from main ringing when the radio terminal equipment receives call termination signals from a communication network and making the radio terminal equipment perform the main ringing after ending a prescribed processing. An up link 8a from the radio terminal equipment 1a to the light receiver 7 is established and signals for terminating a call are bidirectionally transmitted and received. When the signals for terminating the call are normally ended, the radio terminal equipment 1a performs the main ringing, the call from a communication terminal 4 is terminated by off-hooking the radio terminal equipment 1a by the user and communication is started.
