摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the linear conversion of color reproduction with a small number of parameters which are match human sense with a comparatively simple method and in a small circuit scale or small software by using a coefficient converter means, which derives six coefficients needed for the linear conversion of color reproduction from two control parameters. SOLUTION: A coefficient conversion part 5 is added to a linear matrix circuit consisting of a multiplication circuit 1, a subtraction circuit 2 and an addition circuit 3. The part 5 consists of a circuit or software, which converts the chroma saturation (a) and hue (b), i.e., two manually controlled parameters into six matrix coefficientsαtoζ. If mutual effects between the saturation (a) and hue (b) are disregarded for the purpose of simplicity, the coefficientsαtoζare represented as the sum of matrix coefficients needed for control of only the saturation (a) and only the hue (b) respectively. Thus, the part 5 can be formed easily with a simple circuit or a simple program.
