摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device capable of maintaining good display quality even in either case of high temp. and low temp. by setting the shapes, characteristics, etc., of spacers at adequate conditions. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device includes a liquid crystal panel 1 having a pair of substrates 3a, 3b facing each other via the plural spacers 2 and liquid crystals 4 held between these substrates. The grain size distribution of the spacers 2, defined as Dr (%), the compression displacement coefft. of the spacers 2, defined as Ca (gf/μm) and the spraying density thereof, defined as Ds (pieces/ mm2), are set at 2.0<=Dr<=6.0, 0.2<=Ca<=0.8 and 300<=Ds<=1500. As a result, the occurrence of the cell gap unevenness of the liquid crystal panel at a high temp. may be prevented and further the low-temp. foaming of the liquid crystals at a low temp. may be prevented.
