PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain operability of an electronic part mounted in an apparatus and to make small a gap between an operating knob and a hole for the knob on a front panel. SOLUTION: This rotating electronic component can be smoothly operated even if an operating shaft 21 is slightly tilted, by inserting a polygonal sphere part 21B with an operating shaft 21 having a polygonal horizontal cross section in a polygonal hole part 23C above the center hole part 23A of a rotating body 23 so that it can move upward and downward although it also rotates with the hole part, and by bringing the upper surface of a washer 4 acting as a collar part provided under it into elastic contact with an intermediate step part 23B of the center hole part of the rotating body 23. An electronic apparatus using it has a small gap between an operating knob and a hole for knob and is formed into a highly graded product provided with a smooth operating feeling.
