PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and an apparatus in which noise electromagnetic waves such as an electromagnetic interference(EMI) or the like radiated from an electronic apparatus or an electronic component can be reduced. SOLUTION: An apparatus 60 is an electromagnetic-wave absorpting apparatus provided with an electromagnetic-wave absorbing structure, in which a plurality of dipole antennas 62 having a length (e.g. a length at nearly 1/4 of the wavelengthλof electromagnetic waves to be absorbed) which is resonated with the electromagnetic waves to be absorbed are connected to both ends of an actual resistor 61. The apparatus 60 is used in such a way that it is mounted on an adhesive tape or the like so as to be attached to an arbitrary electronic apparatus, or that it is mounted on a circuit board or an electronic component such as an IC, an LSI or the like so as to be used as a part of the structure. As a result, the apparatus 60 can reduce or suppress noise electromagnetic waves such as an EMI or the like or their harmonics.
