PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make natural impression to a viewer even when a sound image and video do not exactly coincide by periodically performing time base modulation to an audio signal to be processed with prescribed frequency and outputting the audio signal for which the time base modulation is performed together with a video signal. SOLUTION: The time base modulation is periodically performed for the audio signal to be processed with the prescribed frequency and the audio signal for which the time base modulation is performed is outputted together with the video signal. The audio signal to be processed is supplied to an A/D converter 1 by this signal processing circuit. A PLL circuit 2 to be actuated as a sampling frequency generator is connected with the A/D converter 1 and a voltage controlled oscillator(VCO) 3 is connected with the PLL circuit 2. And output frequency of the VCO 3 is periodically fluctuated by supplying a fluctuation signal with the prescribed frequency from a fluctuation signal generator 4 to the VCO 3 and the sampling frequency of the A/D converter 1 is timewisely changed.
